Post traumatic stress disorder

One of my FB friends shared this link – http://www.cnn.com/2012/11/04/us/veteran-daughter-ptsd/index.html and I read it because it intrigued me. I did not finish it instantly since it was late at night already. I just finished reading this link a while ago. I have known that PTSD is post-traumatic stress disorder for some veterans of war. However, I think, there are so many who also suffers PTSD even if they are not veterans of war. Some suffers this because of some events in their lives in which they cannot handle and they feel some trauma (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0001923/). Anyhow, I will try to look for the book of this woman since I can relate to some PTSD. I can relate it but not because I have veteran parents or relatives but because I somehow can relate to having trauma in my home before with all the yelling, scolding, and other things that I feel like I am a useless person trying to impress some people in following their rules in which I did not like. Well, so much for this!
